Contemporary House With Old World Aesthetic Located within one of the last undeveloped parcels of land on Lake Minnetonka, Locust Hills, this new home blends an old-world aesthetic with materials and a color pallet derived from the client’s native state of Pennsylvania and incorporates several exterior living spaces to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The client wanted to achieve a sense of permanence and look as if the house had been there for a hundred years and thanks to such chose of materials the architect managed to give a life to this idea. Almost everything inside the house is made of beautiful wood which not only create comfy atmosphere but also connect those who live there to the nature outside. [Charlie & Co. Design]
